‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ is the cleanliness campaign run by our Government of India and initiated by the Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. This campaign was launched to achieve Clean India target by 2019. RAGC has always believed and supported such initiatives.
A cleanliness drive, an initiative taken by the staff and students of “University of Wolverhampton”. A selfless deed which makes a human grow rich in their thoughts and try to transform to stand out with a college with a difference. As rightly quoted – “Cleanliness starts within” and so does the staff and students have identified the pleasure of being in a clean environment.
This drive was initiated on 21st Nov’2017, under the guidance of Mr. Winny. Four groups have been made of which one group will be cleaning the campus once in a week and the other group follows the same for the upcoming week. Cleanliness drive performed on Tuesday by the first group (Details are attached about teams and marking schemes), portrayed a sense of zeal, enthusiasm, teamwork, enjoyment, etc. which concluded the drive on a successful path; setting up a benchmark for the other groups.
For the first time ever UOW has taken up an initiative towards a social cause which has got the highest appreciations. Students have cleaned the entire campus including classroom, conference, staff room, washrooms, cafeteria, etc. It was a thought breaking drive which has indeed taught each of us a lesson of how to develop a better environment for a sustainable living. On this note, we look forward to being successful in this drive by making complete justice with the objective and the purpose behind starting up with this initiative which starts within.
